Access Control Security Guard Services in Los Angeles
Sharp Guard Group provides access control security guards in Los Angeles for office lobbies, gated communities, warehouses, studios and events. Our BSIS-licensed officers (PPO #18098) check IDs and badges, verify visitors against approved lists, issue passes, log every entry and exit, and keep unauthorized people out, 24/7.
What Our Access Control Security Guards Do
Access control is about letting the right people in and keeping everyone else out, without slowing down the people who belong there. Our access control officers check IDs and badges, verify visitors and contractors against approved lists, issue visitor passes, log every entry and exit, watch doors and cameras, and refuse entry politely but firmly when someone is not authorized.

Why Access Control Guards Still Matter With Key Cards
Key cards and cameras are useful, but they cannot stop someone from following an employee through a door, using a borrowed badge or talking their way past an empty desk. A trained officer catches tailgating, checks that faces match badges, handles visitors and deliveries, and responds when a door is forced or propped open. Guards and technology work best together. For full building coverage, see our commercial security service.
Licensed, Trained and Insured Access Control Officers
Every Sharp Guard Group officer holds an active California BSIS guard card, has passed a Live Scan background check and works under our Private Patrol Operator license PPO #18098. Armed officers also hold BSIS firearm permits. Officers are trained on your access policy, visitor procedures and systems before the first shift. We carry general liability insurance and can send a certificate of insurance on request. Sharp Guard Group has served Los Angeles since 2015.
